What goes on a film crew invoice?
Your name and contact details, the production company and job reference, the shoot and prep days, your day rate, any overtime agreed, kit or gear rental as its own line, the total, the due date, and how to pay you.
Should my kit fee be on a separate line?
Yes. Keep your labor and your equipment apart so the production can see what they paid for each. The kit fee guide shows how to set and present it.
What if the production pays through payroll?
Then the payroll company's time card is the official record and you usually don't invoice your labor. Some productions still want an invoice for kit rental. Aestro can track both kinds of pay per project.
